Details:
Sometimes children get into situations that are too difficult for them to deal with on their own. Children are referred to the hearings system because they are considered to be at risk or have offended. At each hearing, panel members work with the child, parents or carers and professionals to make decisions which are in the best interest of the child.

Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling Councils' Children's Panels recruit people from all walks of life to sit on the Children's Panel. They need responsible people who can commit some time to help vulnerable children in their area - children who may have been neglected, abused, in trouble at school or even with the law.

CLASP provides outreach support to families who are in need of additional support due to personal circumstances.
We aim to:-
- Promote children's well-being & development through offering practical help & support to families when experiencing particular difficulties.
- Assist parent in strengthening their parenting abilities.
- Help families during periods of stress.
We currently provide a service to families who live in; Tamfourhill, Stenhousemuir, Airth, Dunmore, Grangemouth, Shieldhill, Slamannan, Camelon, Torwood, Letham, Bothkennar, Avonbridge, California, Whitecross, Larbert, Carronshore, South Alloa, Skinflats, Limerigg, Standburn.
We provide outreach service to families of children under the age of 4 years. We are open all year Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and will consider individualsed support outwith normal working hours if needed.
Families are referred to CLASP to be assessed whether we can offer support. Referral system is first come, first served and due to number of referrals, a waiting list held.
No referral is required for the following drop-in classes:-
- Infant Massage Class - Camelon Health Centre, Mondays 9.30am to 10.30am and 10.30am to 11.30am.
- Totz2Play - California Community Centre, Tuesday 9.15am to 11.15am. For children aged 0-3 years and their parents.
Anyone living within CLASP catchment areas can attend the above groups.

Through detached youth work we engage with young people who congregate in public places and who may be seen by some to act in a harassing and intimidating fashion.
Over a period of time, we develop a trusting relationship, distribute relevant information, develop diversionary activities and thereby reduce the frequency of young people meeting on the streets.
